When you add your phone to a family group, you are agreeing to the following. Nothing else.
Family members CAN
- See your phone's last known location, battery level, network type and last sync time.
- Ask your phone to report its location, ring a siren, lock, or show a lost-mode message.
Family members CANNOT
- See your intruder photos — those are only for you.
- Read your messages, listen through your microphone, or see your apps.
- Do anything silently — your phone always shows a notification.
Your controls
- Pause or stop location sharing any time in Family or Settings.
- See every action taken on your phone in the Activity log.
- Leave the family or delete your account whenever you want.
